Temecula, California
I have been a trusted Temecula bankruptcy lawyer for almost 20 years, with thousands of completed and discharged bankruptcies under my belt. I have two offices in Palm Desert serving the Eastern part of Riverside County and San Bernadino. My second office is in San Clemente, and from here, I can serve not only Oracle County but also Sand Diego and Los Angeles Counties. My specialty is in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, but I can also provide services in debt settlement, wage garnishment, and foreclosures. My combined experience and easygoing attitude toward life will make you feel at ease, and we can handle your complicated process of bankruptcy and financial organization together.
I provide these services in Temecula, part of the Riverside Federal Court district located in Riverside, California.
Temecula, CaliforniaTemecula is a city in Riverside County with a population of 110,000 people. It borders Murrieta and the Pechanga Indian Reservation. Temecula has many military families with its proximity to Camp Pendleton and the Navy bases in San Diego. Temecula has grown a wine industry in recent years and is one of the few cities in California to retain its Indian name. Agriculture, manufacturing, and medical services make up a large portion of the work opportunities in Temecula. These blue-collar jobs do not pay particularly well, and it is easy to become in debt when you live in Southern California and make 100k or less.
HistoryTemecula, California, has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. The Luiseño people originally inhabited Temecula and called it "Temecunga," meaning "place of the sun." The region was known for its lush landscapes and abundant resources. In the late 18th century, Spanish missionaries arrived and established missions, marking the beginning of European influence. The 19th century saw Temecula become a stop on the Butterfield Overland Mail route, and the arrival of the California Southern Railroad in the 1880s further boosted its growth. The city became a hub for agriculture and ranching. In the late 20th century, Temecula gained recognition for its wine industry, and it has since become a popular tourist destination known for its vineyards, historic Old Town, and cultural heritage.
Initially, subprime loans fueled the growth of Temecula. By offering cheaper loans and less stringent conditions to get a loan, Temecula offered an alternative to Orange and San Diego counties. Temecula is known as a city where many foreclosures take place.

I can navigate possible bankruptcy options or debt settlement with a
San Clemente, California office. My second office is in
Palm Desert; you can visit me there if that is more convenient. If your home is in arrears, please contact me so I can advise you on how to get your financial health back on track.
Directions to San Clemente Every week, I drive from San Clemente to our Palm Desert office. I can easily stop and meet you in Temecula if you cannot visit me. If you prefer to visit my office, take Route 15 South to 76 around Pala Mesa. From there, follow 76 down Interstate 5. Take 5 North into San Clemente. It is a 50-mile drive, taking about 53 minutes if traffic isn’t bad.
Directions to Palm Desert Our Palm Desert office is a little further away, but it is a scenic drive through the mountains. I like to take this drive weekly as it is a beautiful stretch. If you leave Temecula, you want to take CA-79S until you reach Aguanga. From there, 371E will take you up the hill into the mountains. Once you reach 74E, take a right; this road will lead you up to 111 South, where my office is just up the road.

Ibegan a business relationship with the Law Office of Christopher Hewitt and dealt with Mr. Hewitt directly. I utilized his service in debt management and because of him i am debt free within 6 months!!! I cannot thank him enough for all the hard work he did and how effective he was with all my creditors. I definitely could not have been this successful with eradicating my debt if i had not employed Mr. Hewitt's services. I strongly recommend him and his Law Office to anyone looking for legal help. Thank you so much!!! Debra B.
★★★★★
The Law Office of Chris Hewitt was great at handling my debt settlement. I was able to speak directly with the attorney multiple times and he always knew what was going on with my accounts and gave me clear advise. I did not feel like he made any false promises and was very realistic about what the outcomes would be. At the end of the year I was able to pay off all my credit cards at less than 40% of what I owed at the time I hired him. I would highly recommend Chris Hewitt for any one who has debt issues and does not want to file for bankruptcy. Karen H.

Basically, if I could describe my experience with Chris Hewitt in three words they would be, professional, straight-forward, and helpful. Going into filing chapter 7 bankruptcy, I had no clue where to begin. Chris took me where I was at and guided me along a process that proved to be clearing financially and emotionally. Plus, I am quite certain nobody could have done it for a better price. I would recommend his service to anybody. Thank you. Dylan H.
