Coachella Valley, California
The Coachella Valley extends about 45 miles through Riverside County and makes up most of the desert communities to the east of Los Angeles. It’s surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains and the San Jacinto Mountains and San Bernardino Mountains. The valley extends all the way from Riverside to the Salton Sea. The Coachella Valley is populated by nearly 600,000 thousand people and is sometimes referred to as the Desert Empire. This region includes such towns as Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio, Rancho Mirage, and Cathedral City, each with its own unique charm, and of course Coachella where every year over a hundred thousand people flock to see the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. I serve clients with my services throughout the Coachella Valley as well as the Inland Empire.
All bankruptcy cases in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties are heard in the town of Riverside at the Federal Court of the Central District of California Riverside Division. Serving such a diverse geographic population is not a problem especially when it comes to bankruptcy. Bankruptcy involves a lot of paperwork as I'll have to examine all your documents and your income for 6 months, look at tax returns, bank statements, pull credit reports and exempt all of your assets. The fees for all Bankruptcy cases are pretty much flat except in special cases where additional fees may be applied if you have circumstances requiring it. If you call me for a Free Consultation, I will be able to explain both the flat fees and any circumstances where you may have to pay a bit more.
I am happy to meet you in person at a location that is convenient for you or we can do everything by phone, email, scanner or fax. Since Covid-19 has ended, the court system in the Central District of California has maintained their system of using telephonic calls and Zoom to do hearings. This not only means that you won’t have to leave your house to go through the process, but also that our firm will be able to service anyone within the state of California. Since I do have clients that I don’t meet in person until I attend the meeting of creditors hearing, I make sure to pay for the BBB and Trustlink so that you can know that you are in good hands. You can look up my profile at calbar.org and see that I have practiced bankruptcy exclusively for many years and have no disciplinary actions. Put your trust in an experienced Riverside County Bankruptcy attorney and learn the benefits of a fresh start.
The 2022 Census shows a great disparity between the average incomes throughout the Coachella Valley with places like Palm Springs, Agua Caliente and La Quinta showing some really high Household average incomes of over $150,000 and while areas like India Palm Desert and further Southeast it can drop all the way down to $20,000. This is of course the average not the median but the median shows similar patterns just a bit less extreme. There are both a lot of people with wealth and big houses and also people that service those houses without nearly as much or any wealth. This leaves a significant portion of people living in an expensive area but not making the money that their wealthier counterparts do. We specialize in helping you deal with your creditors and getting your financial situation back on track.

Inflation has hit a lot of retirees very hard. The CPI data that the US government uses to determine the rate of inflation has been altered since the 1970’s. The basket of goods and services do not necessarily reflect the things that we buy and if we were to use the 1970’s CPI version inflation would be in the double digits. People who saved and calculated what they would need to retire have been put in a bad situation where now that money is worth significantly less than before. Throughout Riverside, and around our offices in San Clemente and Palm Desert I hear stories of retirees struggling to survive on their savings. Many people are using credit cards and other means to cover the difference which ends up catching up with them at some point. If you have any situation in which you need help to deal with creditors or need to consider filing bankruptcy, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
